Vegan Keto Falafel

Organic Ingredients

  • 1 can cooked lupini beans
  • 2 cups thawed frozen broccoli
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley
  • 6 pitted olives
  • 2 tbsp soaked chia seeds
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 c Omega3NutraCleanse®
  • pink salt and black pepper

 

Method:

  1. Soak the lupini beans overnight OR in hot water for 60 minutes and then drain them.
  2. In a food processor chop the beans and broccoli until they are in small pieces.
  3. Transfer this mixture to a medium sized mixing bowl.
  4. Add the tahini, lemon juice, olives and seasoning to the mixture and stir until thoroughly combined.
  5. Next stir in the soaked chia seeds and Omega3NutraCleanse®.
  6. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes as the dough thickens up.
  7. Shape the dough mixture into 12 patties the size of a golf ball and flatten.
  8. Arrange the patties in your air fryer in a single layer and cook at 350F for 15 minutes until golden brown and crunchy. Can also be baked or fried.
  9. Allow to cool for 5 minutes and the enjoy warm.
  10. Serve great as an appetizer with cauliflower hummus or with a giant green salad.
