Turmeric Nanaimo Bars

 

Organic Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 2/3 cup ground walnuts
  • 1/3 cup Omega3NutraCleanse
  • 1/3 c shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1 tbsp cacoa powder
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil or MCT oil
  • 1 tsp pink salt
  • 1/4 cuperythritol other sugar free granulated sweetener

For the Filling

  • 1 cup cashew butter
  • 1/3 cup Omega3NutraCleanse
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil or MCT oil
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cuperythritol other sugar free granulated sweetener
  • 1 tsp pink salt
  • 1 tbsp turmeric

For the Glaze

  • 1 cup Lilly’s sugar free vegan dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil or MCT oil

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine all the crust ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  2. Press crust dough into a brownie tin.
  3. Chill crust in freezer for about 15 minutes.
  4. While crust is setting, combine all filling ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
  5. Pull crust from the freezer and smooth the filling over top as evenly as possible.
  6. Return to freezer for 15 minutes.
  7. Make the glaze by melting the chocolate and coconut oil over low heat, stirring well. 
  8. Pour over the smoothed filling until the glaze is evenly distributed.
  9. Chill for another 15 minutes in the freezer to set, slice and enjoy! 
  10. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week or the freezer up to 6 months!:)
